Rich's latest print is of Tockington Manor School and is entitled 'Tockington, Spring'. He has worked furiously on this one so that we can donate the first framed and signed print of 500 to the Tockington Summer Ball prize fund, which takes place on the 11th July. Small, medium and large mounted and framed prints will soon be available in the shop too. We'll also be having some greetings cards produced. If you are interested, please get in touch.

We are loving the sunshine at Surroundings and hope you are all enjoying this wonderful season that feels like its finally kicked in. This is the perfect season to take on decorative projects around the home or garden. Why not try up-cycling something using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™. Just remember to add a little water to your paint if it's a really warm day and ideally don't paint outside in direct sunlight.

It's a scene so familiar to so many Thornburians and Rich has now completed his latest limited edition print, entitled 'Boxing Day', and it's now available exclusively at Surroundings in A2 and A3 sized mounted prints. Frames made to order of course. Greetings cards will be following shortly.
The long awaited tea towels will shortly be arriving at Surroundings. They are a wonderful fabric based print of Rich's drawing. These are going to be a great gift and addition to your home.
So after an unexpectedly long wait and much promising, we are very pleased to say that our NEW Schleich animal, dinosaur and accessories range is now finally in the shop. We love them. Start collecting NOW. We accept animal requests too so don't despair if there is a particular creature you want that we don't currently have. We do have lots though and we love them all. (Especially the Moose and Baby Chimps). We are also cheaper than John Lewis.
The annual Christmas stock sale is now on. All our unsold Christmas stock is on offer at 40% of the original price. Our Sale will last 10 days so don't delay on getting yourself or someone else a Christmas bargain. You'll just have remember where you put it for until next year.

The Thornbury Christmas Window Competition is now in full swing. Our wonderful muse Rodney has seen the window and given us his blessing. The 12 Rodney gnomes look extremely comfortable in the Surroundings window with their boxes of decs and good cheer. Don't forget to vote for your favourite window and even find the Christmas related words hidden in the windows, this can be done by dropping of an entry form in the participating stores or voting online at mythornbury.co.uk.
As of Saturday 6th December the 2014 Thornbury Christmas Window Competition kicks off. There are over 20 shops taking part and if you find the Christmasy word hidden in each participating window you can be entered into the cash-prize-draw.
