'Annie Sloan Late' is a worldwide stockist event taking place on November 21st 2014. The intention is to stay open late and do something fun that will help raise much needed funds for the NSPCC. We are not sure what we'll be doing as yet but it will involve painting, fundraising, mild boozing and they'll be a nice prize up for grabs too. Until we finalise the details, just make sure you are free between 5-8pm on November 21st. Should be a nice evening.

Stencils have come a long way since the days of the BBC's Changing Rooms . Our customer Katie Matthews have taken a pretty ordinary tray and turned it into a Bansky inspired work of art. She used Paris Grey, Old White, Emperors Silk (red) and Graphite. Banksy, if you're reading this, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint ™ works perfectly well on extra walls as well as virtually all other surfaces.
Here, our customer Lynne Cullen has tried something a little different by up-cycling this violin using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint ™ and some of the additional decorative products we sell. She has started with a base-coat of Prima Red and the 2nd coat was a blend of Cream and Provence (to get a softer greeny/blue). She then sponged the edges with a damp sponge to slightly reveal the red. The 3rd coat was a thin coat of the Cream then sponged off in some places to get the slightly limed effect. The imagery was then applied using the Annie Sloan decoupage varnish. Neat job Lynne.
Due to a late cancellation we have a space up for grabs on this Thursday's Introduction to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ Workshop. Its runs from 13:30 to 16:30 at the Chantry in Thornbury. "These workshops are amazing" As reviewed by me!!! Tell a friend, first come first served.
We want a big part of our News page to be dedicated to featuring customer's Chalk Paint™ projects.
